world`s toughest row
We started in California and after 4444 kilometers and 29 days of oceanrowing we arrived in Hawaii fuelled by lots kiwis and melted cheese! This is KIWIFONDUE!
The Inaugural Pacific Challenge officially began on June 12, 2023. Teams from all over the world embarked on a 4,444km (2,800 mile) journey from Monterey, California to Kauai, Hawaii in row boats. An extreme series of endurance races where individuals from across the globe gathered annually to test themselves against Mother Nature and competed to row thousands of kilometers across the Pacific Ocean. This offered a unique atmosphere to gather together and absorb what was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and experience.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT & VALUES
C-H-E-E-S-E-E-E — Courage, Honesty, Empacy, Effort, Safety And An Epic Experience for Everyone. If you live CHEESEEE, you live well!

OUR MUSIC
Our music and the many good conversations distracted us from the sometimes monotonous daily routine and the “always same” sea. Once a day we had Kiwicoffee time, where all the gossip was told, some of which we heard over the satellite phone; it was a real housewives' gossip session.
OUR NEEDLE KING
We also had a needle king on board, where we could book physio appointments and be pampered.
OUR MOTHER NATURE
Never before have we experienced such intense sunrises and sunsets; although the moonrises and moonsets were even crazier. Ahh yes and meteorite comets - simply a breathtaking natural spectacle every day.
"We were nightriders — we went like maniacs at night time, when everybody else would be feeling tired and sleepy we always went as hard as possible at night, banging tunes, and pushing it harder than ever before."
